ROSTERS
Team rosters consist of (13) players total.
-- (2) G
-- (2) F
-- (1) PF/C
-- (5) UTIL
-- (3) BENCH
Players lock individually (1) minute before the start of their game each day.
No player on the Fantrax Undroppable List may be dropped.
INJURED RESERVE
Each team has (4) Injured Reserve slots for injured players. Players must be listed as “Out” or “Suspended” to be eligible for Injured Reserve. Players placed on IR do not count against a team’s Salary Cap. Owners may leave players on IR after they are no longer IR-eligible, but their rosters will be locked from making any transactions other than moving said player off IR or dropping a player. Claims that are already pending will not be cancelled and will be processed normally.
Suspended players left on IR after their suspension is over will not affect their team’s transaction ability. *This is because of the Fantrax software. Once Fantrax allows Suspended players to lock transactions, ARBYS will, too.
Players may not be kept on IR between seasons. All players on IR after the RFA Deadline each preseason will be dropped to the free agent pool by the League Commissioner. In addition, a (1) category win penalty will be applied to their team’s Week 1 score for every player dropped by the Commissioner. See Sec. 003 (Honor System) for more information and an example.
SCORING
Matchups are scored across (9) stat categories:
-- Field Goal Percentage (FG%)
-- Free Throw Percentage (FT%)
-- Three-Pointers Made (3PTM)
-- Assists (AST)
-- Rebounds (REB)
-- Steals (STL)
-- Blocks (BLK)
-- Points (PTS)
-- Turnovers (TOs)
The team that earns the highest number in each category earns a category win; except TOs in which the lowest score wins. Matchups are scored by category win vs. category win.
MATCHUP TIEBREAKERS
In the regular season, ties will be left as ties; i.e. teams may end their matchup with a 4-4-1 score, or any other tie variation.
In the postseason, matchup tiebreakers are as follows:
-- Whichever team carries the most categories between POINTS, ASSISTS, and REBOUNDS
-- Home team
OFFICIAL SCORING CHANGES
ARBYS recognizes any official scoring change that is approved by the NBA within (3) days of the game played.
If this results in a postseason seeding change, or in teams being retroactively admitted to or eliminated from the ARBYS Playoffs, it is the team owners’ responsibilities to inform the League Commissioner to ensure they have the correct postseason matchup. Owners have until 10 p.m. EST on Thursdays to inform the Commissioner of any seeding change.
